Aircraft Hangar Epoxy Floor Coating at Dupage Airport- The project scope shall include the removal of existing floor coating, with the exception of the center strip in bay #3, in preparation for the installation of a new epoxy floor coating system. preparation to include scarification of existing surface to expose the concrete slab, remediation of all control joints and incidental cracking, installation scope will consist of install of a multi-layer coating system followed by installation of a manufactured product compatible sealant product for all joints between the wall and slab, in-slab fixtures and through slab penetrations. Location - 98 Jet Hangar - 2750 Aviation Drive, West Chicago, IL (#26) 1.Remove existing resinous flooring by a heavy grinder with rotating heads, outfitted with carbide blades designed for removal of resinous flooring. 2. Completely remove existing resinous flooring, leaving a bare concrete surface having a profile of CSP 3 to 4 as described by the International Concrete Repair Institute.
