Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in South Texarkana, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The scope of work consists of the removal and placement of approximately 1200SY of asphalt, 10SY of concrete sidewalk, 12LF of curb and gutter, proof rolling existing subbase, repair of subbase soft spots, installation of 2 ADA sidewalk ramps, 2 parking stops, signage, 200LF pavement stripping, handicap logo, wording and all associated work and appurtenances. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President s Executive Order No. 11246, as amended by Executive Order 11375, and as supplemented in Department of Labor regulations 41 CFR Part 60. Instruction to bidders, bid and contract forms, plans, specifications and other contract documents may be examined and obtained at NO cost per set obtained at the office of the Engineer, at the address stated above. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with state law. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. Bidders may not withdraw their bids within 30 days after the date of bid opening and must provide bid bonds as required. All bidding processes shall be in accordance with state law. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Attention of bidders is particularly called to the requirements as to conditions of employment to be observed and minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract.
