This Notice is posted in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.204 Presolicitation Notices. The primary purpose of this notice is to improve small business access toA acquisitionA information and enhance competition by identifyingA contractingA and subcontracting opportunities. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Officer (NCO) 9 intends to issue a solicitation for a firm-fixed price construction contract for: Proposed Work: Provide all labor, materials, equipment, and expert supervision needed to install fixed patient ceiling lift systems IAW any provided project drawings, statement of work, etc. Magnitude of construction is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. Location: Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS) Alvin C. York VA Medical Center, 3400 Lebanon Road, Bldg. 1, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129. Tentative dates for issuing solicitation, awarding, and completing contract performance: The solicitation is estimated to be posted on 3/8/2023, with an estimated award no later than 5/1/2024, and tentative construction completion date of no later than 9/30/2024. Any plans for inspection will be available from the engineering office at the affected site without charge. All requests for an interest in this project should be submitted no later than 10:00 hrs (10:00am) (Central Time), 2/27/2023. This requirement is anticipated to be solicited as Unrestricted and seeks responses from all those interested in this project to best assess the set-aside status for the eventual solicitation. No charge is expected for any solicitation documents. Additional Information: All interested offerors must be actively listed in the System for Award Management (SAM) database- sam.gov. All interested offerors claiming to be a veteran-owned business, which includes service-disabled types, must be listed and viewable in the Small Business Administration s (SBA) Veterans Small Business database located at https://veterans.certify.sba.gov/. SBA s Limitations on Subcontracting (LoS) for specialty trades requires the prime contractor holder will not pay more than 75 percent of the amount paid by the Government for contract performance, excluding the cost of materials, to subcontractors that are notA similarly situated entities. Any work that aA similarly situated entityA further subcontracts will count towards theA concern s 75 percent subcontract amount that cannot be exceeded. If you cannot do a minimum of 25 percent of the contract work, which excludes the cost of materials, please do not respond as interested and capable. Include the PreSolicitation Number on the subject line. Include in the body, your business size, SAM.gov Unique Entity Identifier, and proper contact information.
