Site work and paving for a road / highway in Greer, South Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Spartanburg County is seeking a qualified contractors for the widening and resurfacing of a portion of Gary Armstrong Road at US-29 to include the addition of a right turn lane. At a minimum, this work shall include: The project is for the widening of a portion of Gary Armstrong Road by the addition of a right turn lane and will include the excavation for the placement of asphalt base and intermediate course and surface overlay of the project area including a portion of the existing Gary Armstrong Road. The project will also include some milling of existing asphalt, pavement marking and signs, grading, drainage, sediment, and erosion control, grassing, asphalt pavement, striping, traffic control and signage to construct the project as shown on plans. The owner shall provide quality control testing in the field. All materials and testing shall meet SCDOT Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, latest edition. THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF THE ADDITION OF A COMBINATION RIGHT-TURN LANE TO THE EXISTING TWO-LANE GARY ARMSTRONG ROAD AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH US 29. THE PROJECT IS LOCATED IN SPARTANBURG COUNTY, SOUTH CAROLINA.
