The work for which bids are asked includes the following: Removals: Excavation common, existing asphalt parking lot and riprap removal. Erosion Control: Erosion mat, turbidity barrier, silt fence, and sediment logs. Site Improvements: Concrete sidewalk improvements, asphalt parking lot pavement marking and repair, ADA accessible fishing pier, sheet piling with concrete cap, tied concrete block, riprap, and bollards. Site and Turf Restoration: Site and turf restoration, general site clean-up and amenities installed. Question Deadline 02/26/2024 Alternates: this project will contain portions of the project broke into alternates. The anticipated substantial completion date is November 18, 2024 for the base bid, April 4, 2025 for alternate bid and final completion date is April 25, 2025. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to ENGINEER in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by ENGINEER as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
