Innes Rd an Arterial Road. The Speed Limit is 60km/hr. This Section of Innes Rd is a Truck Route, a City Bus Route, and is a Local Cycle Route, Accommodation or Detouring Must Be Maintained and Identified in the Traffic Management Plan. The General Scope of Work is as Follows:
Resurface Innes Rd Using a Mill and Pave Strategy. Select Concrete Sidewalk, Islands and Curb Work.
Supply and Install Twsi's as Required.
Install New Sidewalk Across Entrance to Civic#4366 Innes Rd.
Adjust Iron as Required.
Reinstate Pavement Markings (See Notes Below). Project Limits
West Limit: Jeanne D Arc Blvd S/mer-bleue Rd. Pave Through the Intersection. For the Westbound Lanes Tie Into the Paving Joint on the West Side of the Intersection and for the East Bound Pave Approximately 20 M West of the Stop Bar West of the Intersection.
East Limit: Tenth Line Rd. Pave Through the Intersection and Tie Into the Paving Joints on the East Side of the Intersection. Asphalt Concrete:
The Asphalt Thickness Average Value of 150mm. Traffic Count Data:
Total 2- Way Volume = 28,000 Vehicles/day Rehabilitation Strategy
Mill the Existing Asphalt to a Depth of 60mm From the Existing Pavement Surface and Overlay With the Following Pavement Structure.
Surface Course: 60mm, Sp 12.5 Mm Level D Fc 2, Pg 64-34 The amount of the Tender deposit shall equal at least ten percent (10%) of the Total Tender Price. The successful Tenderer and its surety shall provide:
a) A performance bond signed and sealed by the Tenderers surety; and
b) A labour and material payment bond signed and sealed by the Tenderers surety;
c) Each in the amount of at least fifty percent (50%) of the total Tender price. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
