Town of Lincoln, Scope of Work, Housing Commission Exterior Repairs at 75 Tower Road, Lincoln, MA: The Town of Lincoln Housing Commission is soliciting written responses for exterior repairs of a residential property at 75 Tower Road, Lincoln, MA. Prevailing Wage Rates apply and are included in the written scope of work. Estimated Cost $40,000 Roof o Remove and replace existing roof shingles with new 30-year charcoal color architectural asphalt shingles (approximately 37 sq ft), roof cap and necessary vents. o Install aluminum drip edge along all of the roof sheathing and up the rakes. o Install 6' Ice and Water up from bottom of sheathing and 18" on rakes. Fascia o Remove existing wood rake and eave fascia on the main house and dormers. o Replace with Azak, 1 x 8 with 1 x 3 to carry new drip edge. o Provide new fascia and rake with 2 x 6 or equivalent existing sized wood to provide solid backing. Siding o Strip existing siding from front two (2) dormers. o Install full strip of Ice and Water on the side wall. o Install new step flashing. o Install Tyvek or equivalent. o Replace siding with new Hardiboard clapboard: "woodgrain" gray. o Adapt existing window rough openings and install two new construction windows (provided by Town) o Trim new windows and existing basement door with 1 x 4 Azak and Azak sill.
