Site work for a municipal facility in Tracy, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The general nature of the project is the furnishing of all labor, equipment and materials necessary for construction of a landfill disposal area with a Subtitle D composite liner and miscellaneous associated work, all as specified in the plans and contract. The work under the proposed contract shall commence within thirty days of the written Notice to Proceed. The work shall be completed by August 30, 2024, subject to any changes granted by the Owner. Bids shall be presented on a blank form furnished by the SCISWA, submitted in a sealed envelope marked Cell NW1/NW2 Expansion, SCISWA SLF, and accompanied by a separate envelope containing bid security in the amount of 5% of the bid as defined in Iowa Code 26.8 and specified by the Agency in its bid specifications and contract. Further particulars may be obtained from HLW Engineering Group If the public improvement, plans, specifications, form of contract and engineer's estimated cost of the project are approved by the SCISWA, the Agency will proceed to consider bids solicited according to bid specifications contained in the contract and may accept the lowest acceptable bid or reject all bids. This Notice is hereby published in accordance with a resolution duly adopted by the SCISWA on the 14th day of February, 2024.
