Scope includes architectural modifications as well as mechanical, plumbing, fire alarm, power and lighting revisions. Bid security in the form of a bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the aggregate of the Base Bid amount and all Alternate Bid amounts shall be submitted with the bid. Performance, Labor and Material Payment Bonds, and Certificate of Insurance will be required from the successful bidder. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of ninety days after the submission without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Harper College reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding procedures, and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interest of the College. All bidders must comply with applicable Illinois Law requiring the payment of prevailing wages by all Contractors working on public works.
