Water Pressure Filtration Rehabilitation. Estimated Cost $1,600,000. Water Pressure Filtration Rehabilitation. Rehabilitation of 14 pressure filters at the District's two (2) water treatment facilities including replacement of filter gravel, anthracite media, Greens and Plus media, replacement of internal filter piping and sample ports, filter vessel painting and valve replacement. 1. North Side Water Treatment Facility, 475 Old Bass River Road, Dennis, MA. 2. South Side Water Treatment Facility, 940 Route 134, Dennis, MA. The water treatment facilities were activated in 2009, each with six (6) 11-foot diameter filters. In 2014 an additional filter was installed at each water treatment facility for a total of seven (7) 11-foot diameter filters at each facility. This project involves rehabilitation of 14 filters. The filters provide removal of iron and manganese from well water. The Work consists of rehabilitation of 14 pressure filters at the District's two (2) water treatment facilities including replacement of anthracite, GreensandPlus and additional filter internals. The facilities must remain in service during the Work. Three (3) filters at each facility shall be taken off-line, rehabilitated and reactivated prior to initiating work on the remaining four (4) filters at each facility. The intent is for work to occur concurrently at both facilities. Contractor shall be DCAMM certified for Sewage and Water Treatment Plants.
