Questions will be received until 10:00 am Friday 29 March 2024 after which an addendum will be issued. SCOPE A. Attention is directed to the fact that the building will be fully occupied and functioning. Perform all work without undue interference to the continuing operations of facility. The Contractor's access to the building is to be restricted as hereinafter specified. B. Existing ACC-5 and associated refrigerant pipe shall be removed completely to existing AHU-5 in the second floor mechanical room. The HVAC contractor shall be responsible for capturing and disposal of existing R22 refrigerant in a legal and safe manner. The existing DX cooling coil located in AHU-5 shall be removed from the unit once the existing refrigerant has been extracted. Hydronic heating supply and return piping for the existing AHU-5 heating hot water may have to be removed to allow for access to the DX cooling coil access. C. A new air-cooled condensing unit will be installed at grade, pad mounted in the original location of the original ACC-5. New refrigerant pipe will be run from the new outdoor condensing unit to the new DX cooing coil installed in existing AHU-5. The selection of the new DX cooling coil has been verified by the manufacturer.
