Site work for a civil project in Cranbrook, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Through this Request for Proposal, the City of Cranbrook, hereafter referred to as the City, invites proposals for the replacement of a 200mm DI watermain with 300mm PVC. The existing watermain crosses Highway 95 between 30th Avenue North and the Highway 95A on-ramp. The proposed watermain will be offset approximately 7.5m South of the existing alignment and will be installed inside a 600mm steel casing for future maintenance. The 600mm steel casing pipe will be installed by cut and cover method across Highway 95. The existing 200mm DI watermain will be capped, filled with non-shrink grout, and abandoned. The Contract is generally for the following summary of Work: 80m of 300mm DR18 PVC watermain 35m of 600mm Sch40 steel casing 275m2 of asphalt paving
