The Work consists of, but is not limited to, the construction of a new maintenance building of approximately 2000 square feet with offices, a large storage room for non-hazardous parts and supplies, and support spaces for the building. All work shall be constructed in accordance with the Bid documents. Location:14150 NW 8th Street, Sunrise, FL 33325. Qualification Requirement: The Prime Contractor shall have a valid State of Florida Certified General Contractor's License or Florida Certified Building Contractor's License. In the City of Sunrise, all underground utility permits (Drainage, Sewer, Sewer Service, Water, Water Service) require a licensed underground contractor to obtain the permit and perform the work. The Prime Contractor must have successfully completed at least three (3) projects of similar type, scope, size and complexity within the last five (5) years in the State of Florida. Every reasonable effort will be made to allow for meeting participation. After any Bid is opened or a Short List is established for a Request for Proposal or Request for Qualifications, any information concerning the solicitation shall be available only through the City Attorney, Purchasing Director or an individual specifically named in the solicitation.
