This Project is located at 7 different sites in Seattle: 1) NE 115th St from 3rd Ave NE to 5th Ave NE; 2) NE 62nd St from 21st Ave NE to Ravenna Ave NE; 3) Raye St from Warren Ave N to 2nd Ave N; 4) 4th Ave N from Newell St to Dexter Ave N; and 5) SW Stevens St from 57th Ave SW to 58th Ave SW; 6) 25th Ave S from S Ferdinand St to S Hudson St; and 7) 44th Ave S from S Juneau St to S Kenny St. Question Deadline: 03/15/2024 at 5:00 PM PT change from 03/14/2024 Questions must be submitted 4 Business Days before the Bid Opening Date. This Project consists of the following elements of Work: Abandon in-place existing watermains; install new ductile iron watermain pipe, including valving, fire hydrants, vaults, and other watermain appurtenances, ranging from 4 inch to 20 inch in diameter by open-trench method; storm & sewer improvements; assist SPU Water Operations with: cut, cap, blocking of existing watermains, temporary and permanent water main connections, and temporary and permanent water services connection transfers; and final surface restoration of roadway and landscaping, including ADA curb ramp improvements. This Project is a Covered Project subject to the City of Seattle's Community Workforce Agreement (CWA) and Priority Hire SMC 20.37. With the support of the mayor and City Council, the City of Seattle administers programs that support racial and economic equity through contracting. Priority Hire is one of these programs. Priority Hire provides people living in economically distressed communities, women, and people of color access to work on the city's construction projects.
