The Ionia Public Schools BOE has approved the project award to Milo Interiors of Ionia Michigan in the amount of $26,400.00. The anticipated start date is June 15,2024. The estimated project value is $60,000.00. Ionia Public Schools is seeking sealed bids, in duplicate, for the replacement of the Kitchen Floor at it's Twin Rivers Elementary School located at 435 Lou Lemke Lane, Muir Michigan, 48860. In accordance with Section 1267 of the Revised School Code each bid must be accompanied by a sworn and notarized Familial Disclosure Statement completed by the bidder disclosing any familial relationship between the Owner or and employee of the Bidder and any member of the District's Board of Education or the Superintendent of the District. The project will include but is not limited to, removal of kitchen equipment, and reinstallation at completion of project, disconnecting gas, electrical and plumbing as needed, reinstallation or hookup of gas, electrical and plumbing at completion of project, current flooring removal, repairing or replacing subflooring as needed, installation of Bently Mills Mariners Series 4205/ Siltstone sheet flooring, cove base molding and all transitions strips as needed. Due to the funding source for this project, the current Davis Bacon Federal Prevailing wages must be followed, and copies of certified payroll must be submitted to Ionia Public Schools for all pay applications.
