Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Candiac, Quebec. Design plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and bridge / tunnel.
Construction of a bicycle bridge on the Verte road above highway 30 in the axis of the disused railway right-of-way between the recently constructed cycle path on the south side of the Hwy 30 and a point located north of the highway. The work will, in particular, include a bridge, its north and south approaches, a segment of cycle path between the base of the north approach and a point located approximately 200 m north of the Hwy 30. TIMELINE: The awarded professional consultant has completed the project concept and schematic drawings establishment. Submitted documents are under review at the owner. It is undetermined now whether the same professional consultant will proceed with working drawings preparation or the owner will issue a new RFP for this task. Owner's decision is anticipated in early/spring 2025. Further update at that time.
