Site work for a civil project in Candiac, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of a new filtration plant due to the densification of the population in order to increase the production of drinking water and meet current and future needs. Construction will be carried out on part of André-J.-Côté park just west of the current plant located at 62 boulevard Marie-Victorin. The plant will supply drinking water to the cities of Candiac, Saint-Philippe, Saint-Mathieu, Sainte-Catherine and Saint-Constant. Scope of work, timelines of the project development and budget of construction are being finalized. TIMELINE: The awarded awarded engineering professional consulting firms has submitted to the owner a technical study, scope and budget evaluations relating to the technological process that will be used by the new plant. The owner is finalizing the scope of work and seeking required approvals and funding from provincial authorities. According to the engineering department of the City the project construction will not proceed during next several years. The project will be followed if/when it proceeds to a design stage.
