The McDuffie County School District (The District) is currently accepting proposals to provide Category 2 eligible cabling for a new elementary school in the District. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from various vendors, conduct a fair and extensive evaluation, and select the vendor which best meets the needs of McDuffie County. The District is seeking "Erate" program funding for this project. Vendor selection will follow USAC recommendations and rules. Vendors must have a USAC SPIN Number and must be conversant with and maintain compliance with Erate rules and regulations. Pursuant to Erate guidelines, this RFP is being issued within a form 470. All proposals will be evaluated using Erate guidelines. Pursuant to Erate guidelines, equivalent equipment to any specified in the RFP will be considered. The McDuffie County School District is seeking a vendor to supply the Category 2 cabling for data, racks, patch panels, along with other required equipment as outlined in the data cabling plans and specifications provided in the included appendices and attachments. Cable colors will be provided to the selected vendor by the district. The selection decision for the winning proposer will be made as soon as possible after the deadline for proposals. The McDuffie County School District reserves the right to accept any proposal which it deems most favorable to the interest of the District and to reject any or all proposals or portions of any proposal submitted which, in its sole opinion, is not in the best interest of the District. Upon notification, a contract will be signed with the winning vendor. Upon notification, Vendor must furnish a completed, error free, current version of the USAC FRN Bulk Upload file no later than noon, March 22, 2024. The bulk upload file must be organized in such a manner as to separate date, voice, and video components. Bidders who were not selected will be notified.
