The Project includes the following AC Improvements at Alden Elementary School 1. Installation of AC equipment. The Project site will be available to commence work starting on June 7 th , 2024. The project areas shall be completed by August 16 th , 2024 Bid Proposals must be accompanied by a bid security of five (5) percent (%) from bid bond, cashier's check or certified check in the same amount. The bid security shall be provided to the Alden Community School District as security that if the bidder is awarded the contract, the bidder will enter into a contract on the form provided by the Alden Community School District at the price bid and shall furnish the required performance bond, payment bond and Certificate of nsurance. If the bidder fails to execute the contract and to furnish an acceptable performance bond, payment bond or Certificate of Insurance within ten (10) days after acceptance of the bid, the bid security may be forfeited or cashed by the Alden Community School District as liquidated damages. A Pre-Bid Meeting and Walkthrough for all bidders will be held on February 28 th , 2024 at 1:30pm (Central Time) at 209 Center Street; Alden, Iowa 50006.
