The Department, at its sole discretion, may award one or more contracts. If more than one award is made, award will be based on the lowest responsive bid then the next lowest responsive bid and so forth and activated in the same order based on Contractor availability and ability to satisfy the needs of the Department at the time contacted. No quantities are guaranteed and there will be no unit cost adjustment for quantities required over or under the estimated quantities. This contract will be awarded based on the total amount of $0 (zero) dollars and not the contractor's bid total. Additional funds will be added to the contract as needed. The Proposal Schedule of items for Emergency Signal Repair Must be submitted with your bid as an attachment. Pre-qualification is Required to Bid on This Project FHWA 1273 and Davis Bacon Wage Rates are applicable for this Contract. The contractor shall provide a letter to the Department at the time of bid from a surety authorized to do business in the State of Florida verifying the contractor is bondable in the State of Florida. For the purposes of this contract the dollar amount is established at $2,000,000.00 Submit your questions through Bid Question and Answer website and their respective answers will be also posted at this site. The contract Schedule of Items for Emergency Cut & Toss Services MUST be submitted with your bid as an attachment. This contract will be awarded based on the total amount of $0 (zero) dollars and not the contractor's bid total. Additional funds will be added to the contract as needed. For the purposes of this contract the dollar amount is established at $1,000,000.00 For bids over $150,000.00, the standard proposal guaranty of 5% of the bid will be required, unless otherwise stipulated in the proposal advertisement. A Proposal Guaranty of not less than five percent (5%) of the total actual bid in the form of either a certified check, cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check, bank draft of any national or state bank, or a Surety Proposal Guaranty made payable to the Florida Department of Transportation must be received for each bid in excess of $150,000.00 A 100% Payment and Performance Bond will be required for all projects. All work is to be done in accordance with the Plans, special Provisions of the State of Florida Department of Transportation.
