**As of March 25th , 2024 project was awarded to Texana Land & Asphalt, Inc , awarded amount is $832,745.99.** Paving and Drainage Improvements Smith County reserves the right to award by unit cost or lump sum discount and waive any irregularities or formalities in the best interest of Smith County. Smith County reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. The project provides for the construction of a new 30-ft. wide county road (Length = 2463 feet), with cement treated subgrade, HMAC base, and HMAC surface, and the installation of a drainage crossing structure, with pavement markings, and all necessary appurtenances. Final cleanup of all work areas shall be made prior to final acceptance of the project. Prospective Bidders are expected to inspect the site of work and to inform themselves regarding all local conditions.
