Without limiting the scope of work, this project consists of removal and replacement of home and visitors side bleachers, home side press box, scoreboard, fencing, renovations or construction of new restroom facilities and concession stands, new football field lighting and sound system. Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, are required as part of the design team. Applicants should have experience with ESSA funded projects. A preliminary repair and renovation cost of approximately $2,500,000 with an Architect's fee of proximately $187,112.00. The amounts are subject to change. Contract design time is 240 consecutive days inclusive of 60 days review time. Thereafter, liquidated damages in the amount of $500.00 per day will be assessed. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS APPLICABLE TO THIS PROJECT: Applicants are advised that design time ends when the Documents are complete, coordinated and ready for bid. Documents will be considered to be complete, coordinated and ready for bid" only if the advertisement for bid can be issued with no further corrections to the Documents. Design time will not necessarily end at the receipt of the initial Construction Documents Phase submittal by the Construction Department. Any re-submittals required to complete the documents will be included in the design time. In addition to the statutory requirements, professional liability insurance covering the work involved will be required in an amount specified in the following schedule. This will be required at the time the Designers contract is signed. Proof of coverage will be required at that time. Project must meet all applicable local, state, and federal codes. The Designer shall prepare all required drawings in AutoCAD and specifications in Word format.
