Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility; for site work for a water / sewer project; and pre-engineered storage facility.
Work consists of the construction of a drainage pump station consisting of three (3) hydraulically driven axial flow pumps, steel discharge piping, steel sheet piling, timber piling, bar screens, construction of a metal building to house the drive units, hydraulic piping, and associated site grading. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of HEAVY CONSTRUCTION (CLASS III) The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder payable to Lafourche Parish Government The award of a contract, if awarded, will be made within 45 calendar days after opening proposals to the lowest qualified bidder whose proposal complies with all requirements prescribed. Liquidated damages for delay will be in the amount of $1000.00 per calendar day for each day over the proposed time limit
