Renovation of an educational facility in Murray, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Sparks Hall First Floor Lobby & Restroom Renovations The date hereinafter specified for the furnishing of all labor, materials, supplies, tools, appliances, equipment, services, etc., necessary for the Sparks Hall 1st floor Lobby & Restroom Renovation, as set forth in the specifications and as shown on the drawings for as prepared by and approved by Facilities Management, Murray State University under the terms and conditions of this Invitation. This project is for the first floor lobby and restroom renovation of Sparks Hall. The project consists of renovations to the main lobby, entry vestibules, and 1 st floor toilet rooms with the addition of one, single occupant toilet room. Work includes upgraded finishes, borrowed lite glazing modifications, ADA renovations to existing toilet rooms. The work includes but is not limited to architectural, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, electrical, and technology work. The overall price for the base bid and all selected alternates will be considered. Due to the nature of the project, Murray State University reserves the right to accept alternates in any order that it deems to be in the best interest of the University. All bonding and insurance requirements are contained in the Instruction to Bidders and/or General Conditions. Questions about obtaining plans and specifications may be directed to Beth Ward @ lward10@murraystate.edu. Only those Prime Contractors who have obtained Plans and Bid Documents directly from Lynn Imaging will be eligible to submit a bid for this project. Bids, upon their receipt on the Lynn Imaging website are stamped showing the hour and date received. The ability to post after the designated time above will be removed and no late submittals can be posted or accepted. After the public opening of Envelope Two, all data will be combined to determine the apparent awardee of the contract. construction and renovation projects, and encourages the use of minority subcontractors and material suppliers. All contractors should make an effort to locate and use minority business enterprises in bidding this project. For assistance in identifying minority vendors and subcontractors, the contractors may contact the Kentucky Office of Minority Business Enterprises, 2329 Capital Plaza Tower, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601, Telephone no. (270) 564-2064 and Louisville Minority Business Development Center, 611 W. Main Street, Louisville Kentucky 40202, ATTN: Mr. Darnell Jackson Bidders using minority enterprises as subcontractors and material suppliers are requested to identify these contractors in the space provided on the Form of Proposal. The successful contractor will be asked to supply associated contract amounts rounded to the nearest $500.00 prior to the signing of a contract.
