Renovation of a water / sewer project in Clearwater, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of April 26, 2024, the project is awarded to Eau Gallie Electric, but the awarded amount is not available. Creating new electrical room, installing new access door, and addressing concrete floor subsidence. Replacing and relocating the mixer motor control center (MCC) and switchgear distribution centers. Removing existing FRP structure. Installing a New 1200A Nema 4X Service Entrance Breaker. Incorporating smart MCC into SCADA. Replacing concrete block wall and footer - Refer to Specs Section 01 11 13. The work includes: Creation of a separate Electrical Room within the existing Control Building. New access door to Blower Room and modifications to existing concrete floor to address subsidence. Replacement and relocation of Mixer motor control center (MCC-1) and the switchgear distribution centers (DC-1 and DC-2). Removal of existing FRP structure. New 1200A Nema 4X Service Entrance Breaker with new Utility transformer connection. Incorporation of "Smart" MCC into existing SCADA system. A concrete block wall and footer will be replaced with a new grade beam foundation and CMU block. Equipment attached to the wall will need to be detached, temporarily supported and re-attached. Blower Room plenum area to be filled in and intake structure removed. 17-0028
