Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Raritan, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 25, 2024, This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The proposed work will be the construction of new municipal offices in the existing building on 9 West Somerset Street, Borough of Raritan. The architectural work will include a full fit-up of the existing building and the construction of a new elevator and associated exterior elevator shaft. The site work will include the demolition of the existing asphalt parking lot, concrete curb and landscaping areas, the grading and paving of a new asphalt parking area, installation of concrete sidewalk, curb and landscaping and the installation of associated utilities such as stormwater, water, electric and gas Bid Security is required in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, but not in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) as set forth in N.J.S.A. 40A:11-21. The Borough of Raritan reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, or to waive any Bid defect where such defect is not detrimental to the best interest of Borough of Raritan and fairness of the bidding process.
