Deposits will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders. Deposits will be returned to successful bidder upon execution of contract documents. The Contractor shall deliver the executed contract and all required surety bonds within ten (10) days upon receipt of the contract from the Owner. With the execution and delivery of the Contract, the Contractor shall furnish and file with the City in the amounts herein required, the surety bonds listed below. The surety on such bonds shall be a duly authorized surety company satisfactory to the Owner. A. A good and sufficient Performance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the approximate total amount of the Contract, guaranteeing the full and faithful execution of the work and performance of the Contract and for the protection of the City and all property owners interested against any improper execution of the work or the use of inferior materials. B. A good and sufficient Statutory Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the approximate total amount of the Contract, guaranteeing payment for all labor, materials, and equipment used in the construction of the project. C. A good and sufficient Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount of the Contract, guaranteeing the maintenance in good condition of such project for a period of two (2) years from and after the time of its completion and acceptance by the City. The City Council of the City of Lawton reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
