The Alachua County Housing Authority (ACHA) is looking to revive bids for the full remodel of one bathroom located at 601 NE 10th Street Gainesville, FL 32601. This is an occupied unit with only one bathroom. Proper arrangements will need to be made with the resident and ACHA to reduce the interruptions to the greatest extent feasible. Scope of Work Details: Remove tub, shower wall, all wall tile, toilet, vanity, mirror and vanity lighting. Replace tub and shower wall Install cement board and 2 x 6 backing for shower wall and grab bars to code Install Ceramic tile to 5" above the shower head and along the shower wall edge to the floor (ACHA to pick size and color) Install white Marble window sill Install Delta Foundations Chrome Shower Faucet with universal valve kit Install chrome grab bars to meet current code Replace toilet Install an American Standard Edgemere 1.28 GPF 2-piece elongated toilet Replace vanity Install a 30" Single sink bathroom vanity with white cultured marble top Replace all drain lines and hoses Install chrome Delta Foundations single handle faucet Replace vanity mirror with flush mount mirror 30" wide by 48" high Replace light fixture with chrome modern/contemporary vanity fixture with LED bulbs Install 6" high PVC style base board throughout bathroom Patch and paint all walls with LOW VOC mildew resident paint (ACHA to pick color) Cleanup and removal is the responsibility of the contractor and site must be kept clean at all times Protection of current tile flooring is a must All labor materials and permits (required) are the responsibility of the contractor.
