Rehabilitate a single-family home located at 1058 Grove Avenue, Cocoa, FL 32922. All work shall be conducted according to the scope of work which is made part of the contract by reference. Funding for this project is provided through a SHIP grant. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bid/proposals, with or without a cause; to waive technical errors and informalities; and to award proposals to the highest rated responsive and responsible bidder. Small Business Set Asides (i.e. Woman Owned, Minority, Veteran, Disadvantaged etc.) are encouraged to submit bid/proposals concerning this solicitation The City of Cocoa supports local vendors and offers a five (5%) percent preference given to Brevard County contractors / contractors whose physical business address is within the physical boundaries of Brevard County and such location is evidenced by the local business tax receipt issued for at least six (6) months prior to the date the bid is submitted. P.O. Boxes shall not be considered a physical business address. Local preference does not apply in the case where contracts are funded in whole or in part by a government entity whose laws or regulations governing such funding prohibit application of a local vendor preference.
