Site work for a water / sewer project in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

***Interested bidder will need to contact Tanya Milan for them to be added on the bidder's list. Summit Cluster Lagoon Rehabilitation generally consists of the following: 1. Site clearing and grubbing of an estimated 1.5-acre wooded area for the rehabilitation and repair of a total retention sewer lagoon system. Prepare site by clearing and grubbing vegetative material, trees, brush and other nuisance vegetation. Stockpile cleared trees and vegetation onsite in orderly fashion. Stockpile topsoil neatly onsite and reuse as needed for site restoration and final grading. 2. Rehabilitate existing Cells #1 and #2 by diverting flow into one cell, importing cohesive fill material, re-grading all side slopes of berms and top banks to finish elevations shown on the plans. Performing all necessary earthwork and compaction. 3. Clear vegetation from existing lagoon perimeter fencing and vehicle gate and spot repair as needed. 4. Install new gravel access driveway from 80th Street to lagoon site. 5. Pump existing septic tanks of the 8 homes connected to sewer lagoon system to remove solids from the tanks and prevent sludge accumulation in the lagoon cells. The work to be performed under these contracts are subject to Section 7(b) of the Indian Self Determination Act (25 U.S.C. 450e(b)). Section 7(b) requires that to the greatest extent feasible: (i) preference and opportunities for training and employment shall be given to Indians, and (ii) preference in the award of contract and subcontracts shall be given to Indian organizations or Indian-owned economic enterprises. The parties to this contract shall comply with the provisions of Section 7(b) of the Indian Act. In connection with these contracts, the contractor shall, to the greatest extent feasible, give preference in the award of any subcontracts to Indian-owned economic enterprises, and preferences and opportunities for training and employment to Indians. The contracts shall include this Section 7(b) clause in every subcontract in connection with the project, and shall, at the direction of the recipient, take appropriate action pursuant to the subcontract upon a finding by the Department of Housing or HUD that the subcontractor has violated the Section 7(b) clause of the Indian Act. At least 33.33% of the work is to be self-performed by the prime contractor. The Indian Health Service (IHS) is acting as a technical assistance provider working directly with the MCNDH for the project. At no time shall the Proposer/Contractor communicate and/or coordinate directly with the IHS, but rather through the MCNDH. This is a tribally procured project, not a federally procured project, and the IHS has no privy with the Proposer/Contractor The bid packet will be available for pickup by request beginning Thursday, February 15th, 2024 at 2 p.m. by contacting Tanya Milam at 918-549-2546 or by email at tmilam@muscogeenation.com. Employees of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation or entities thereof are ineligible to receive contracts for goods or services in accordance with NCA #89-04. A 5% bid bond/guarantee is required to submit a bid. A 100% payment and performance bond will be required within 10 days of notification of contract award. This project will be awarded as one single contract.
