Question Deadline 02/26/2024 at 5:00 PM ET SCOPE OF WORK The Vendor/Contractor will supply all materials, labor, and equipment in order to accomplish the Construction of Temporary Traffic Signal at County Line Road and Linden Drive , as described in the specifications and construction plans showing the proposed improvements in Hernando County, Florida. 10.2. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A. This project consists of Construction of a temporary traffic signal at the intersection of County Line Road and Linden Dr. B. It will be the Vendor/Contractor's responsibility to provide an acceptable MOT plan at the PreConstruction meeting along with a chart showing the project schedule. C. The Vendor/Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA workplace safety requirements and shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the general public. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The work to be performed in this contract will be performed on Intersection of County Line Road and Linden Drive, in Hernando County, Florida. 10.4. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS Traffic Control/Work Zone Safety A. Prime Contractors must be Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) prequalified under Work Computerized Traffic Control. B. The Contractor must provide a Certified International Municipal Signal Association (IMSA) Level II Traffic Signal Technician on site at all times during the construction. C. The Contractor must provide a certified FDOT Immediate Temporary Traffic Control (TTC) Technician on site at all times during the construction. D. All roadways shall remain open to through traffic except when a road closure is approved by the County Engineer. E. Contractor shall provide temporary traffic control plans and variable message boards which display the hours of construction. F. The Contractor shall place a minimum of three message boards, two (2) on County Line Road (one eastbound and one westbound) and one (1) on Linden Drive (southbound) at least 10 days before the work commences, as requested by the County Engineer
