Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Amesbury, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Project consists of but is not limited to: Pedestrian safety improvements along Main Street and Evans Place in Amesbury including rectangular rapid flashing beacon (RRFB) installation, ADA/AAB compliant pedestrian curb ramp construction, cement concrete sidewalk, hot mix asphalt sidewalk and driveways, granite curb installation, signage and striping upgrades, minor drainage improvements and all other incidental items. Mass DOT prequalification of contractors with the class of work as, Highway Construction or Highway Sidewalk and Curbing, for the project with an estimated value of $364,845.00 will be required. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be forwarded to jbrzwzowski@theengineeringcorp. com by 03/07/2024 at 12:00PM EDT. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the total bid amount (including all alternates), and made pay- able to the CITY OF AMESBURY. The City of Amesbury may cancel this IFB or reject in whole or in part any and all proposals, if they determine that cancellation or rejection serves the best interest of the City of Amesbury.
