Engineer's Estimate Of Cost. Base Bid: $144,000 The Township Trustees reserves the right to reject any/or all proposals. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any proposal having erasures or corrections in the price sheet may be rejected; any proposal in which unit prices are omitted or in which unit prices are unbalanced may be rejected; any proposal accompanied by an insufficient or irregular bond or certified check may be rejected. All proposals shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) and a contract bond with surety satisfactory to the Township Trustees for the full amount (100%) of the bid, made payable to Spencer Township Trustees. Such bond is to serve as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into and the performance of it properly secured. All bid guaranty and contract bonds shall be returned on demand within ten (10) days after the proposals are opened - except those of the three (3) lowest bidders, which shall be held until the successful bidder has executed the contract.
