Saving Project...

Renovation of a mixed-use development in Johnson City, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Provide all labor materials and equipment to install Foyer Security Improvements at Science Hill High School and Liberty Bell Middle School as per attached bid specifications and maps that are an integral part of this bid. 1. Science Hill High School 2. Liberty Bell Middle School Work shall consist of the following for both: One storefront door to right of reception counter, 3x7' with hinges, rim exit, closer, construction rim cylinder and electric strike. Fixed glass and aluminum on countertop to separate lobby from workspace. Three walk-up areas, each with a bullet-resistant speak-thru device and deal tray. All aluminum framing will have a clear anodized finish. All glazing will be 1" thick polycarbonate with a UL Level 3 rating. Frame headers will stop 12-14" from ceiling, allowing air circulation above. Electrical wiring from strike and push button are not included. Wiring to strike will need to be coordinated with frame installation. Note: Due to shape of countertop, entrance and framing would be installed first. Then polycarbonate would be measured, ordered and installed at a later date to ensure proper fit. Door and framing will not be bullet resistant, only the glazing, speak-thru devices and deal trays.
