The City of Post Falls intends to reconstruct the pavement on Spokane Street from the I-90 eastbound on- and offramps to the Spokane River bridge. The project will include hydrant replacement, catch basin replacement, pavement, curb & gutter, sidewalk, dry utility conduit installation, and replacing the cones of two manholes. An Idaho Public Works Contractor License is required to bid on and complete this work. All bids shall contain Bidder s security in an amount equal to 5% of the total Bid amount, payable to the City of Post Falls, in the form of: Bidder s Bond executed by a surety company qualified in the State of Idaho, Certified Check, Cashier s Check, or Cash. Said bid security shall be forfeited to the Owner as liquidated damages should the successful bidder fail to enter into contract in accordance with their proposal as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. It is the intent of these documents to describe the work required to complete this project in sufficient detail to secure comparable bids.
