Site work and paving for a road / highway in Post Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project's scope is to rehabilitate the roadway for 1.894 miles, maintaining the two existing lanes and widening the shoulders. This is proposed to increase the road section from 28 feet to 34 feet within the existing fifty-foot prescriptive right-of-way. The intent of this project is improve the road section to provide the PFHD with a roadway that will better support heavy truck traffic and resist the spring freeze-thaw cycle utilizing a Cement Recycled Asphalt Base Stabilization (CRABS) with a Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) overlay. In an effort to achieve ITD's DBE Annual Participation Goal (APG) of 10.11% utilization, ITD requires responder to utilize certified subcontractors and suppliers listed on its DBE Directory located at For this project, it has been determined that there is a DBE availability of 5.0% or more County: Kootenai Est.
