The Lethbridge Water Treatment Plant (WTP) provides potable water to over 100,000 residents as well as several industrial plants and regional customers. The City of Lethbridge (City) is committed to providing its citizens and the region with reliable and high-quality drinking water. As part of our ongoing efforts to improve service reliability and quality, we are planning major electrical upgrades at the Lethbridge WTP. A major part of the overall electrical upgrades is the implementation of four main electrical transformers. These transformers will not only replace existing equipment that is nearing the end of its service life but also reduce operational risk and provide capacity for future expansion at the WTP.
