Renovation of a religious / funeral development in Woodstock, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a religious / funeral development.

The Opera House is a very unique facilities that must accommodate a variety of different functions, the system should represent a professionally designed and integrated system. The theater is used for a wide variety of events including theatrical productions, live music, band and chorus concerts, film events, dance programs and spoken word lectures. Operational needs range from a single microphone for basic presentations, to full range audio/video for national music acts and theatrical touring groups. Provider will be expected to fulfill a design-build proposal, meeting all requirements laid out in the bid request. All providers are required to do a mandatory onsite survey, and be able to provide all requirements for all necessary electrical upgrades, coordinated with the project's general contractor and electrical contractor, for a turnkey completed project. Operation of the system must be kept simple but flexible. The system must be capable of providing high quality audiovisual reinforcement, that will meet most technical-rider requirements for acts using the Opera House main stage. The day-to-day operation of the AV system is executed predominately by part-time Stage Crew employees that rotate from show to show. Therefore, labeling of all components and connections used with the system must be clear and complete. The rewarded provider must be able to meet all requirements contained within the DCEO-RDMS grant agreement associated with this project. Upon completion of the installation a thorough training session will be performed with all primary users of the system The City of Woodstock will receive sealed bids for the Opera House Sound & Visual Upgrades at the Woodstock Opera House following the requirements of the Bid Documents and Plans. All bids received prior to the specified date and time, which meet or exceed the minimum specifications, will be considered by the City. The City will review each properly submitted bid and will make a selection based upon price, availability, quality and other features of the bid proposals. Bids submitted after 10:00 am, local time, Friday, March 6, 2024 will not be considered and will be returned to the bidder. Not less than the prevailing rates of wages as found by the City of Woodstock and/or the Illinois Department of Labor, or determined by a court on review, shall be paid to all laborers, workmen, and mechanics performing work under this contract. The successful bidder shall comply with all requirements of the "Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act", 30 ILCS 570/0.01. The City of Woodstock reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to select the bid that is considered to be the most advantageous to the City of Woodstock. Bids Event Notes : In Case Bids for More Than One City Project Are Being Received, as Soon Thereafter as the Business of the City Will Permit. Award of the Bid Will Be Considered at a Later Meeting of the Woodstock City Council Within at Least 30 Days of the Date of Receiving Bids. Only Bids and Proposals Submitted on Forms Prepared by the City of Woodstock Will Be Considered
