Apron Reconstruction Pocatello Regional Airport, Pocatello Idaho Work Associated With Proposed Improvements is Generally Described as Follows: Schedule a: Apron Reconstruction Consists of in-place Full Depth Reclamation of Existing Asphalt and Base With Cement, Hma Asphalt Placement, Perimeter Road Surfacing, and Pavement Markings.approximate Quantities Include 29,450 Sy of in-place Pavement Recycling, 432 Tons of Cement, 8,360 Tons of Hot Mix Asphalt, 24,785 Sy of Perimeter Road Surfacing, and 1,040 Sf of Pavement Markings. A Bid Guaranty, Payable in Cash, by Cashiers Check, Certified Check or Bid Bond, of 5 Percent of the Bid Amount is Required. Separate Performance and Payment Bonds Each in the Amount of 100 Percent of the Contract Amount Will Be Required. This Public Works Project is Financed in Part by Federal Aid Funds. No Contractor, Subcontractor, or Specialty Contractor Shall Be Required to Have a Current License as a Contractor in the State of Idaho in Order to Submit a Bid or Proposal on This Project; Prior to Award and Execution of the Contract, the Successful Bidder Shall Secure an Idaho Public Works Contractor's License. Prospective Contractors Are Notified That the Work Under This Contract is Funded in Part by a Grant From the Federal Aviation Administration and as Such is Subject to Executive Order 11246, 41 Cfr Part 60-4, and Equal Employment Opportunity (Eeo) and Federal Labor Provisions. The Contractor Will Be Required to Comply With All Applicable Federal and State Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and Regulations. To Be Eligible for Award, the Contractor Must Agree to Comply With the Affirmative Action Requirements and Minimum Wage Rates Identified in the Bidding Documents. This Solicitation and Any Resulting Contract Are Subject to the Buy America Requirements of 49 Usc Section 50101. All Prospective Bidders Are Directed to the Instructions for Bidders for Discussion of Bid Policies, Procedures, and Requirements. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, to Waive Any and All Informalities and to Negotiate Contract Terms With the Successful Bidder, and the Right to Disregard All Non-conforming, Non-responsive or Conditional Bids. Question Deadline 03/08/2024 Questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing, to be received at least three business days before the date and time upon which bids are scheduled to be opened. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda. After receipt of protest response, Bidder has three business days to submit an appeal of the decision to the Owner.
