Renovation of an educational facility in Mattoon, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The project consists of renovating the existing high school gymnasium Work includes replacement of doors. frames, & hardware, painting, floor finishes, glass railing, casework, & stage curtain. Bid(10%), Performance(100%), Payment(100%), Certified Check Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the March 12, 2024 meeting of the Board of Education. Begin construction on April 1, 2024. The Work shall be Substantially Complete on or before August 9, 2024. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the owner. All questions to be submitted to A/E by 12:00 pm, Monday, March 4, 2024. If an addendum is necessary it will be issued on Monday afternoon, March 4, 2024. Questions not asked at the Pre-Bid shall be sent to The Upchurch Group office via email: Andrew Ewing, Architect, aewing@upchurchgroup.com.
