Reference Number 0000343271 The goal of this project is to install the next section of stormpipe in alignment with the Garmisch St Storm Masterplan. The corrugated metal pipe in Garmisch is failing in several sections, including areas along the block between Main St to Hallam St. Several hundred feet of pipe bottom is completely rusted out, and the bedding is exposed and eroding. This project will replace the pipe to restore proper function and reduce safety hazards associated with failing pipe. The project will install storm pipe and associated inlets along Hallam St between Garmisch St and N Aspen St, adjacent to the Red Brick Center for the Arts to alleviate drainage and icing issues as well as align with the City's stormwater master plan. The project will replace three blocks of older cast iron watermains with ductile iron pipe. Replacement sections include Hallam St from Garmisch to N Aspen St, and along Garmisch St from Hallam to Main St. The fourth project goal is to install EV charging station base at the Yellow Brick.
