project cancelled The City of Richmond sanitary sewer collection system is periodically CCTVd by Veolia Operation and Maintenance staff. This information has been assessed by Veolia and V.W. Housen and Associates, which has identified several pipe segments, which are currently inaccessible due to obstruction, line collapse, joint defect and other such defects that are in need of repairs and/or replacement. Contact Patrick McKenzie for assistance with downloading the BID at Patrick_McKenzie@ci.richmond.ca.us All questions must be submitted via the electronic BidsOnline system on the Q&A tab by February 23, 2024 at 11:00pm PST. Veolia Water West Operating Services, Inc. operates and maintains the City of Richmonds Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) and the associated sewer collection system. The work will include pipe segment replacement of deteriorated sewer pipe segments within the collection system using pipe bursting, open cut, or pipe reaming as discussed further below. The work shall include manhole installation and/or replacement and/or full interior surface (e.g. chimney, cone, wall, bench, and channel) rehabilitation when the adjacent pipeline is replaced, and manhole frames and covers as necessary. For pipe replacement work, pipe bursting is the preferred method, followed by open cut and then pipe reaming.
