In accordance with Article 5.2 of the Garfield County Procurement Code (GCPC), Garfield County is soliciting completive sealed bids from qualified individuals or companies to provide a new Caterpillar 962 or John Deere 724 Wheel Loader to the Garfield County Road and Bridge department. As more clearly defined in Article 4.3.5 of the GCPC, the nature of the County's requirements makes use of a brand name specification suitable for this procurement and is not intended to limit or restrict competition. Term Of Contract: It is intended that this IFB will result in the award of a contract. The proposed initial term of that contract will be March 18, 2024, through December 31, 2024. Unless otherwise limited by an applicable statutory provision any Purchase Order or Contract awarded as a result of this IFB may be renewed at the option of the parties for two additional terms of one (1) year each.
