The intent of this project is to replace the existing operators, and access-control keypads with new equipment. The gate is left open during normal business hours and closed during off-hours, however it is utilized continuously by law enforcement, emergency response personnel, and others 24/7. Under a separate contract, Fayette County will have Ultimate Security install an access control panel for the exterior and an on/off switch for the interior. The Contractor is responsible for coordinating installation with Ultimate and ensuring all equipment is compatible. Ultimate's proposed scope of work is attached. o The contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor, and tools necessary to complete the project. o All materials and equipment for the project shall be new and free from damage or defects. The contractor shall furnish and install: Two (2) HySecurity Slide Smart gate operators (or equivalent); New virtual loops (or equivalent) to provide for free exit and safety; and o One (1) photo eye.
