The City of Pittsburgh Office of Management and Budget on behalf of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure, is submitting bids for Brule Street Slide Remediation Construction. This project is the landslide remediation by construction of a soldier pile and lagging wall on Brule Street in the City of Pittsburgh's Perry South neighborhood. Upon completion of the new retaining wall, restoration of the pavement within the work area will be required. Question Submission Deadline:March 11, 2024, 3:00pm This construction project is to build a soldier beam and lagging wall to stabilize the hillside on Brule Street in the City's Perry South neighborhood. Upon completion of the retaining wall, pavement restoration will be required. Traffic is to be detoured during construction. Reestablishment of vegetation including selective tree planting in addition to typical seeding will be required. A performance bond in an exact dollar amount equal to the full amount (100%) of the contract will be required from any awarded vendor.
