This project is in Davidson County along James Robertson Parkway near the intersection of 2nd Avenue North and James Robertson Parkway. Additional work is located along 3rd Avenue North and 2nd Avenue North near James Robertson Parkway. The project generally includes replacement of approximately 140 linear feet (LF) of 16-inch ductile iron main, 80 LF of 12-inch ductile iron water main, and 40 LF of 6-inch ductile iron water main; one (1) fire hydrant; five (5) 16" gate valves, three (3) 12" gate valves, two (2) 8" gate valves, one (1) 6" gate valve, and all appurtenances for a complete and operable system. Water main replacement in James Robertson Parkway shall comply with all TDOT permit restrictions (see permit) and NDOT requirements. Working hours have been set by TDOT to be 8:PM to 5:AM Sunday-Thursday. Miscellaneous Flowmeters Project Phase 1 The project is located throughout Davidson County in council districts 4, 12, 15, 25, 27, 31, 33, and 34. The project generally includes installation of thirteen (13) flowmeters. MWS will provide the flowmeter and coordinate the location for the precast concrete vault with the Contractor. Contractor shall install precast vault, piping, valves, fittings, flowmeter, and all appurtenances including electrical service and telemetry. Contractor shall restore area to "pre-construction" condition or better, this includes paving, seeding, strawing, landscaping, or other surface restoration as required. Contractor shall assist MWS staff in obtaining all applicable permits and easements from the authorities with jurisdiction *The bid list for this project may be incomplete.
