As of April 24, 2024, the project is awarded to Van Pelt Construction, but the awarded amount is not available. Alum Rock Union School District ("District") is requesting qualified persons, firms, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations to provide comprehensive and professional construction management services to the District for HVAC Upgrade Projects ("Project," "Projects" or "Project(s)") relating to the District's facilities development of its public schools under Measure "I" Bonds Program ("Program"), this will include work at the District Office IT Server Room, Superintendent's Office and District Main Lobby Receptionist Area. The comprehensive construction management services will include, but not limited to: Project construction oversight, reporting, and support; and constructability reviews; pre-construction support including bidding; strategic construction sequencing and staging; optimization of staging and/or work consolidation; and may include other construction management for Projects and Program planning and support. Questions must be submitted to Mr. Freitas at marc.freitas@arusd.org or designee, on or before Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 2:00 P.M. Answers will be emailed on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 to all potential bidders that signed in at the scheduled site walk. The District reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive informalities and minor irregularities in any proposal reviewed. The District may reject any proposal that does not conform to the instructions herewith. Additionally, the District reserves the right to negotiate all final terms and conditions of any preliminary agreement entered into with the construction management firm.
