Reference Number 0000343447 The work consists of constructing improvements at the Croton Falls Community Greenspace. The work includes asphalt and concrete sidewalks, curbing, asphalt parking, water service line, and appurtenant electrical work. Other related work shall include demolition, preparing, restoring and cleaning the project area all in accordance with the plans and specifications as directed by the Engineer. The project is partially funded by a Westchester County Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and is subject to the CDBG requirements. Question Acceptance Deadline 03/13/2024 05:00 PM EDT Questions are submitted online Yes General Requirements - Bid Deposit Required - Insurance Required Bonding Requirements - Bid Bond 5 % -- Bid Bond acceptable to the Town or a certified cashier's check drawn on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 5% of the total amount of the bid. Checks shall be made payable to the Town of North Salem, and are to be held by the Town as a guarantee for the proper execution and delivery of the Contract and bonds to secure the faithful performance thereof. Contractors bidding the project should visit the site prior to bid. *The Town of North Salem reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any informality in any bid, and to award the contract to other than the lowest bidder if deemed in the best interest of the Town to do so.
