Site work for a water / sewer project in Mount Olive, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Town of Mount Olive is soliciting qualifications for Engineering Services to assist in the engineering services, including design and bid package services, and construction inspection services of the project. This is in compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements and regulations under the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Infrastructure Grant Funds. The Town of Mount Olive was awarded a grant on January 10, 2024 for Drinking Water Improvements in the amount $1,000,000.00. The project includes the replacement of a fresh water filter at the water treatment plant. This includes replacement of residential water meters and replacement of a two- inch water line to a six inch water line. The proposed project will increase residential water pressure and increase our water quality. The date for project completion is December 31, 2026.
