MANSFIELD LIBERY PARK CULVERT REPLACEMENT - Replacement of a bridge (SFN 7061313) on the public access drive in Liberty Park. The structure, which conveys a tributary to the Fork River, will be replaced with 56 feet of 8'x5' box culvert. The project also includes 44 feet of pavement replacement, channel grading, and rock channel protection at the inlet and outlet. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties making the same and all persons interested therein, and must be accompanied, pursuant to Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, by a satisfactory BID GUARANTY AND CONTRACT BOND or PROPOSAL BOND executed by the bidder and an acceptable surety, in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the total amount for each individual proposal; or by a certified check, cashiers check, or a letter of credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount for each individual proposal, payable to the City of Mansfield, Ohio as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted, a contract will be entered into. Awarding of the contract shall be to the Lowest and Best bidder as determined by the City of Mansfield's Board of Control in the best interest of the City of Mansfield. The City of Mansfield's Board of Control reserves the right to reject any and all proposals and to waive any irregularities. The Engineers Estimate for this project is One Hundred Fifty Thousand and 00/100 Dollars ($150,000.00).
